Jamboree is a two day Bootleggers Ball special event over Memorial Day weekend, celebrating Frankie Manning's birthday and World Lindy Hop Day. We'll have live bands both Saturday and Sunday night at the Community Music Center, plus fun daytime activities. Registration is open now: $35 for the whole weekend!
A classy dance party straight out of Prohibition days with some of the hottest jazz and swing bands in the Bay Area! We have live jazz, a drop-in taster class in swing dancing, and of course, in true bootlegging fashion, we're BYOB (and encourage it!). Admission: $16 online / $20 at the door (price may vary for special events).

We've found wonderful hosts in the SF Community Music Center in the Mission District.
The Community Music Center (CMC) was founded in 1921 with the mission of making music accessible to all people, regardless of their financial means. They offer classes for people of all ages, abilities and interests and financial aid to all who need it.
We're a group of Bay Area friends who decided to work together to throw the dance party of our dreams. Since we dance lindy hop and other vintage dances from back in the day, we're mixing together the tastiest ingredients we can find: a beautiful ballroom, hot live jazz, classy people, and plentiful shenanigans.
